by posted 06/28/2009

CAYBA is putting the final touches on the 2009 Fall Ball Registration.

We expect that registrations will be open on-line sometime within the next week.

If you are listed in the CABYA database for the 2009 season, you will be emailed once registration is open.

Thanks for your patience.

Volunteer Update
by posted 05/21/2009

Volunteers
Don't forget to schedule your volunteer hours.  Volunteer hours must be served by ADULTS.  Health Code does not allow children in the concession stands.  Minimum age to work concession stands is 15, as long as there is 1 adult in the stands.

We have had to hire several positions over the past month, due to lack of volunteers.  Schedules are posted online under the Concession Tab of the website.  They are updated often, and have the date/time of update at the top of each page.

Volunteer positions are now posted online.

Please click on the "Concessions" Tab at the top of the page.  Then select Community or Pioneer Park.

Please email to reserve your time.

Thanks
Michele Hazelton

  • 16-19 year olds may use
    • Bats that are up to 2 5/8" in diameter that do not exceed 36" in length, and are -3 or less in weight differential.
All Metro, VFW, and All Star teams are subject to bat rules for their respective leagues/tournaments.  Metro rules are available at www.mbl.bz

Anyone that will be coaching a "Select / All Star" team must complete this program, and submit a copy of their certificate before they will be considered for coaching.  This requirement includes assistant coaches, and anyone that will be on the field or bench during games and practices.  Please send your certificate to

Rain Outs
by posted 05/21/2009

Rainout/Field Updates
Please make sure your email address and contact information  is updated in your online CAYBA account.  We currently have 70 email addresses that bounce back when emails are sent "League Wide".

If/when we close fields due to weather, you will be emailed/texted notices as soon as they are made known.  If your email is not accurate, you will not get the email.  We will make every effort to update the website by 5PM for rain-outs.  If the website is not updated by 5PM, the coaches and umpire will make a determination at the field.

If the fields are closed due to rain, we have been notified by the cities to stay off the fields.  This means stay off the fields, even if it stops raining and looks beautiful.

Thanks
CAYBA
